Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Froilan Quintan made the kick off which started today's match. Pocitos FC's Cecilio Abar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Quintan in the 14th minute of play. Victoriano Mitxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Albano Otsando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Quintan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, one of Pocitos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pocitos FC. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Granosangrante F.C. Fernan Pedroso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cecilio Abar. 0-1. Sebastian Jorrin's late challenge caught a Granosangrante F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Jorrin helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastian Jorrin kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pocitos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernan Pedroso was slow to take the kick. During this time Granosangrante F.C's players had a chance to rest. Cecilio Abar came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Granosangrante F.C's Astor Urko. But to his dismay, Astor Urko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victoriano Mitxel to make the kick off. Cecilio Abar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Urko in the 53rd minute. Siro Francho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Albano Otsando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Quintan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Granosangrante F.C's Benigno Demario suffered a sore knee after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jairo Lleir's late challenge caught a Granosangrante F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Lleir helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Jairo Lleir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Granosangrante F.C's Albano Otsando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Francho in the 65th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Granosangrante F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Francho came free, but Albano Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoriano Mitxel might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albano Otsando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victoriano Mitxel ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Granosangrante F.C defense, Siro Francho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albano Otsando. The Granosangrante F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Otsando should have stopped the shot. Astor Urko's late challenge caught a Pocitos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Urko helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pocitos FC booed when Granosangrante F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Urko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Granosangrante F.C's Astor Urko got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 93 minutes of play, Pocitos FC's Siro Francho made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albano Otsando was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jairo Lleir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Granosangrante F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
