But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Elivareo couldn't finish the play. Sixto Rencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Baldovino, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Albano Lia didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 22nd minute. A.A.L.C.'s supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Arnoldo Maidana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Koldo having to interfere. If Mario Kusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Eustaquio Elivareo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albigasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Elivareo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eustaquio Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roque Montrelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustaquio Elivareo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Bermudo in the 53rd minute of play forced A.A.L.C.'s goalkeeper Cecilio Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Albano Lia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Albigasta's Roque Montrelle got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Eustaquio Elivareo came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Albigasta fans jumped to their feet. A.A.L.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Eustaquio Elivareo scored to the left of an out of position Cecilio Koldo, making the score, 3-1. Many of Albigasta's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Albigasta may have spent more time on the ball, but A.A.L.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
