Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Froilan Quintan in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Iztal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Astor Urko might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lázaro Iztal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Urko ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the match, Moises Leizarraga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Granosangrante F.C's Albano Otsando. Albano Otsando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to IAN FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ildefonso Lopes hit a great ball. Lázaro Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Quintan in the 21st minute of play. Froilan Quintan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Iztal having to interfere. The supporters of Granosangrante F.C booed when IAN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Mannie didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Neto during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Granosangrante F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Neto to maneuver through the defense. IAN FC's Ruben Kinsen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Granosangrante F.C. After 47 minutes of play, Granosangrante F.C's Astor Urko made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lázaro Iztal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Froilan Quintan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Astor Urko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind IAN FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Iztal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Froilan Quintan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Iztal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Quintan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, IAN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Quintan came free, but Lázaro Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albano Otsando was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Moises Leizarraga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 83 minute of play.
