Lionel Messi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Otsando having to interfere. The Club Atletico Patronato fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Club Atletico Patronato's Lionel Messi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lionel Messi in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albano Otsando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 played minutes Granosangrante F.C got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Demario. A hard shot 34 in the game by Lionel Messi from a close distance when the talented Albano Otsando managed to make a qualified save. Granosangrante F.C's players were relieved. Lionel Messi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Albano Otsando made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Patronato's Eulalio Montrel got a free kick in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the game, Lionel Messi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Albano Otsando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lionel Messi to strike the kick off in the second half. Guaberto Harriet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albano Otsando. Granosangrante F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Albano Otsando didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Club Atletico Patronato's Lionel Messi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Lionel Messi put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Albano Otsando. Albano Otsando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Messi in the 65th minute of play. Granosangrante F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jairo Urtungo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Club Atletico Patronato getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Eulalio Montrel hit a great ball. Thibault Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Urko in the 86th minute. After 94th play minutes Lionel Messi shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Albano Otsando and just under the crossbar into goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Granosangrante F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atletico Patronato.
