Orlando Cheche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Aquiles Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Alberdi's Aquiles Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Galsino in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute of the match Matias Birjaio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sérgio Valle skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lanús's zone, Gustavo Oto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Valle came out of the goal and Gustavo Oto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Galsino in the 14th minute of play forced Deportivo Alberdi's goalkeeper Aquiles Maureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Bertin hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Lisandro Galsino came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Lanús fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Galsino couldn't finish the play. Tomás Urtun kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Ivan Elia hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Lanús's Lisandro Galsino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Maureo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Romulo Chale charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romulo Chale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lisandro Galsino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquiles Maureo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Deportivo Alberdi's Aquiles Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Galsino in the 31st minute of play. Benigno Urtsin kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Romulo Chale kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Deportivo Alberdi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Oto to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ivan Savier sped through Lanús's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sérgio Valle. In the 46th minute, Ivan Savier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Urritz during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lanús! Sérgio Valle had in the 51stth minute some difficulties stopping Ivan Elia's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lanús's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivan Elia was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Alberdi's players had a chance to rest.

The wind increased when Aaron Rius made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Rius in the 59th minute of play forced Lanús's goalkeeper Sérgio Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Rius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Valle came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Alberdi's Gustavo Oto. But to his dismay, Gustavo Oto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 70 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alberdi's Aaron Rius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sérgio Valle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aaron Rius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Rius in the 74th minute of play. Lanús's Orlando Cheche got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquiles Maureo made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Orlando Cheche sent off a good shot on target. Aaron Rius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sérgio Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anselmo Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Rius, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute Alessio Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Rius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tomás Urtun fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lanús's protests and gave Tomás Urtun a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lanús getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Tomás Urtun hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 102 minutes, Aaron Rius put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sérgio Valle. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo Alberdi had played much better football throughout.
