Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adolfo Gaufred got the match started through his kick off. In the 15th match minute, Club Atlético Olympia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Jokin to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlético Olympia's Segundo Goi got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute Adolfo Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Abeitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Adolfo Gaufred got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Gaufred fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Abeitia having to interfere. Jose Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Segundo Goi to strike the kick off in the second half. Club Atlético Olympia's Bernardo Abeitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Gaufred in the 60th minute of play.
