Andres Omero made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Melquiades Orlanda sent off a good shot on target. Arturo Cucao hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Tulumaya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Silvino came free, but Andres Omero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Tomás Valiente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Handi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Valiente in the 34th minute of play forced El Gigante Rosarino's goalkeeper Hilario Handi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Valiente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Serafin Rainerio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hilario Handi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximo Silvino was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Tulumaya FC's Serafin Rainerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hilario Handi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hilario Handi made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Serafin Rainerio sent off a good shot on target. Serafin Rainerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Hilario Handi made a huge save. Tulumaya FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Valiente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Handi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Handi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El Gigante Rosarino's Guaberto Tauro got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 90 played minutes, El Gigante Rosarino's Guaberto Tauro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andres Omero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Gigante Rosarino reached it. The Tulumaya FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tulumaya FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
