Edgard Aznar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Aaron Rius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Aznar having to interfere. Ivan Savier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Aznar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Edgard Aznar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aaron Rius showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Aaron Rius got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dalmacio Loi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Aaron Rius made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Deportivo Alberdi's Ivan Savier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgard Aznar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Marcelino Urtsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Aquiles Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's Agustin Nabar got a free kick in the 91st minute. Edgard Aznar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Rius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
