In the 3rd minute, Miguel Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute Marcelino Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Maraman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmacio Loi struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Santiago Maraman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. INDEPENDIENTE. 19 minutes into the match, C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's goalkeeper Edgard Aznar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Rufio. Uriel Quinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niceto Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Aznar having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, C.A. INDEPENDIENTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Nabar to maneuver through the defense. C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's Edgard Aznar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Quinto in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Fraga FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Efrain Llin hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Marcelino Urtsin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fraga FC's Santiago Maraman. Santiago Maraman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dalmacio Loi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Santiago Maraman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Urtsin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Maraman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's goalkeeper Edgard Aznar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Flores. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Edgard Aznar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Quinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's zone, Niceto Rufio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Aznar came out of the goal and Niceto Rufio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's Marcelino Urtsin got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niceto Rufio struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Edgard Aznar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fraga FC. With 68 minutes on the clock, Ubaldo Balendin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave C.A. INDEPENDIENTE a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anibal Dimo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fraga FC's Santiago Maraman. 0-2. Edgard Aznar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Rufio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fraga FC's goalkeeper Santiago Maraman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Efrain Llin hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The supporters of C.A. INDEPENDIENTE booed when Fraga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Rudolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Urtsin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Santiago Maraman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of C.A. INDEPENDIENTE booed when Fraga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Rudolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dalmacio Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A. INDEPENDIENTE! Niceto Rufio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efrain Llin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The C.A. INDEPENDIENTE players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
