Ivan Savier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Hilario Handi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes in the game, Aaron Rius fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hilario Handi having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximo Silvino was the one to do the kick off. Hilario Handi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Rius, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Alberdi's goalkeeper Aquiles Maureo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, El Gigante Rosarino's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Savier came free, but Hilario Handi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilario Handi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Rius's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Rius in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilario Handi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Aaron Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo Alberdi had played much better football throughout.
