Larrechea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaspar Frascuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 28th minute Victorino Guib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Matia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Larrechea's Elvio Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Guib in the 31st minute of play. Victorino Guib scored 0-4 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvio Matia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Hipolito Muc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Larrechea defense, Victorino Guib kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Matia. The Larrechea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Matia should have stopped the shot. If Hipolito Muc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When River Norte F.C.'s Victorino Guib in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Victorino Guib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Matia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Guib's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Asur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Elvio Matia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute, River Norte F.C.'s Gaspar Frascuelo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elvio Matia. Elvio Matia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. River Norte F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
