When Paulo Ihintza fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lobizon's protests and gave Paulo Ihintza a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Lobizon got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Ihintza. Godfredo Hernandez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Alejo Frechoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bernardino Ostargi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Niguel in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Melchor Niguel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardino Ostargi. Eldorado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Niguel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 19th minute, Andres Mitxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Obeko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godfredo Hernandez was the one to do the kick off. After 79 minutes, Carlos Henry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lobizon and the Eldorado players grew even worse after the yellow card.
