Serafino Nel started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Serafino Nel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Filomeno Birjaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Efrain Henric scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filomeno Birjaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute, Edgard Olo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Efrain Henric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Birjaio having to interfere. Atletico Los Locos's Efrain Henric got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Colón AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Nel came free, but Filomeno Birjaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Olo in the 25th minute of play forced Atletico Los Locos's goalkeeper Ramon Otsando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Colón AFC's Edgard Olo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramon Otsando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raimundo Ignatius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ramon Otsando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Olo was the one to do the kick off. Efrain Henric blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filomeno Birjaio having to make a save. Serafino Nel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Serafino Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes Atletico Los Locos got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Kelemen. After 79 minutes of play, Colón AFC's Bartolo Cambranes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Otsando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Faustino Gonsalvo's late challenge caught a Atletico Los Locos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Gonsalvo helped the player get up and apologised. Faustino Gonsalvo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Bartolo Cambranes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Olo in the 91st minute of play forced Atletico Los Locos's goalkeeper Ramon Otsando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atletico Los Locos's Ramon Otsando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Olo in the 92nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apolo Chinto during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Apolo Chinto kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Atletico Los Locos's Natalio Primeiro tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Atletico Los Locos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atletico Los Locos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
