Spectators: 7063 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edgard Olo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Edgard Olo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Matia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celedonio Aurre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Filomeno Birjaio. Colón AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Edgard Olo came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Colón AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Olo couldn't finish the play. Robustiano Barea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Filomeno Birjaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute of the match, Bartolo Cambranes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elvio Matia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Justo Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Barea in the 24th minute of play forced Colón AFC's goalkeeper Filomeno Birjaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Olo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bartolo Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Birjaio having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Justo Etxekopar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Filomeno Birjaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Colón AFC's Edgard Olo in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Larrechea's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justo Etxekopar made a kick off. Filomeno Birjaio made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Robustiano Barea sent off a good shot on target. Colón AFC's Filomeno Birjaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Etxekopar in the 52nd minute of play. Filomeno Birjaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Edgard Olo might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elvio Matia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgard Olo ran back to his position shaking his head. Bartolo Cambranes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartolo Cambranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Elvio Matia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Etxekopar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Raimundo Ignatius charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Ignatius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raimundo Ignatius kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Larrechea's Haroldo Maule broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Colón AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Larrechea's performance. The match ended with a win for Larrechea.
