Rodolfo Asur was slow to take the kick. During this time River Norte F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Rodolfo Asur almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lobizon's Alejo Frechoso did a great save. Alejo Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Guib, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half River Norte F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorino Guib was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of River Norte F.C. booed when Lobizon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Solustiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejo Frechoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorino Guib in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes Lobizon got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Musko. Victorino Guib got in the 60th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Alejo Frechoso handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Alejo Frechoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Timo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Frascuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. River Norte F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodolfo Asur in the 74th minute. In the 94th minute, Gaspar Frascuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victorino Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. River Norte F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
