After having played for 26 minutes, Denis Lluterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ingenieros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Lluterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Madaleno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amador Kismi made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ingenieros's Jesus Sadurni. After having played for 42 minutes, Angel Hanni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ingenieros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Hanni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Madaleno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Lluterio went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The San Telmo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ingenieros were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Eufemio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match was over Ingenieros could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than San Telmo throughout the match.
