VILLA LURO's Serafin Liher got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Serafin Liher managed to get in a good position for a shot. VILLA LURO's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Liher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VILLA LURO! Samuel Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Montes having to interfere. Serafin Liher blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Formerio having to make a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Kerygma F.C. getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Flavio Suero hit a great ball. After 62 minutes, Aristides Seber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kerygma F.C. and the VILLA LURO players grew even worse after the yellow card. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing VILLA LURO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
