The penalty shot was made by Cesar Etxatxu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ashes FC's Efrain Odilon. 1-0. Lino Olayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Abascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, MugrososFC's Nemesio Quin got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Eusebio Jakobe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ashes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Jakobe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Danilo Cristofor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 32 minutes into the match, MugrososFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Abascal came free, but Lino Olayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Severino Saturnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severino Saturnin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Efrain Odilon came out and tried to block the shot, but Severino Saturnin slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Saturnin was the one to do the kick off. Efrain Odilon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Quin in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Ashes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Cristofor came free, but Efrain Odilon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Ashes FC's Edgard Abascal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lino Olayo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 68th minute, Severino Saturnin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ashes FC's zone, Severino Saturnin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Odilon came out of the goal and Severino Saturnin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Quin during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nemesio Quin hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 77 minutes MugrososFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teo Lander who took care of the corner kick. Ashes FC's Teo Lander was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lino Olayo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Severino Saturnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Olayo made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Edgard Abascal sent off a good shot on target. MugrososFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
