Edelmiro Suero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Madaleno's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pandillero MaTador's zone, Alonzo Madaleno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Suero came out of the goal and Alonzo Madaleno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Denis Claude put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edelmiro Suero. After 38 minutes, Denis Claude made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Pandillero MaTador's Edelmiro Suero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Alonzo Madaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Amaicha del Valle were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Denis Claude made the kick off in the second half. Melchor Bazil hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Bernardino Uzuri hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Denis Claude received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Edelmiro Suero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Alonzo Madaleno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pandillero MaTador's Julian Eudoxio got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Alonzo Madaleno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Edelmiro Suero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Pandillero MaTador getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Romeo Odon hit a great ball. Pandillero MaTador's Edelmiro Suero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Pandillero MaTador from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the match, Pandillero MaTador's goalkeeper Edelmiro Suero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Madaleno. In the 85th minute, Amado Montay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amaicha del Valle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Amaicha del Valle's attack was well implemented in the 92nd minute, but when Denis Claude was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Edelmiro Suero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alonzo Madaleno came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Amaicha del Valle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Madaleno couldn't finish the play.
