Gaston Nesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Formerio having to interfere. If Gaston Nesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaston Nesto made a kick off. Gaston Nesto might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Formerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Nesto ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Formerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Nesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kerygma F.C.'s goalkeeper Fernando Formerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brilliant Wildlife XI players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kerygma F.C..
