After a rather tough play, VILLA LURO's Abelardo Saturnin got a free kick in the 8th minute. Eriberto Montes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Aurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Aurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Primeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matias Primeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to VILLA LURO getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Matias Primeiro hit a great ball. Caseros F.C.'s Silvano Aurre got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Severino Mercurio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caseros F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Silvano Aurre was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Rico in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Patxi saved Caseros F.C. from getting behind. Eriberto Montes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Napier in the 36th minute. Caseros F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nunez Guillen in the 41st minute. It was a well-played corner which David Cordeiro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Serafin Liher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute Candido Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Patxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Candido Rico made a kick off. Serafin Liher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Benigno Patxi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candido Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Patxi having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Serafin Liher got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Severino Mercurio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eriberto Montes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Aurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Rico in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Patxi saved Caseros F.C. from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Caseros F.C.'s zone, Candido Rico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Patxi came out of the goal and Candido Rico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. VILLA LURO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
