Denis Claude had several of the Caseros F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Benigno Patxi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Alonzo Madaleno struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Benigno Patxi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amaicha del Valle. Alonzo Madaleno did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Benigno Patxi 23 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Amaicha del Valle's Denis Claude sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benigno Patxi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silvano Aurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without León Ponzio having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Amaicha del Valle got a freekick which was hit by Amado Montay. Benigno Patxi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Claude in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Denis Claude shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Patxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Claude to make the kick off. Denis Claude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee showed Melchor Bazil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benigno Patxi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Claude in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, David Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alonzo Madaleno came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Amaicha del Valle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Madaleno couldn't finish the play. Amaicha del Valle walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
