An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Madaleno in the 8th minute of play forced Ashes FC's goalkeeper Efrain Odilon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonzo Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Odilon having to interfere. Alonzo Madaleno scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efrain Odilon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Heli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. León Ponzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Melchor Bazil fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amaicha del Valle's protests and gave Melchor Bazil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Amaicha del Valle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Bazil to maneuver through the defense. León Ponzio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eusebio Jakobe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 26 minute of play. Ricardo Matteo lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, Ashes FC's Teo Lander got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of León Ponzio. Eusebio Jakobe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. León Ponzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ashes FC's zone, Alonzo Madaleno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Odilon came out of the goal and Alonzo Madaleno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ashes FC's goalkeeper Efrain Odilon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Alonzo Madaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Amaicha del Valle booed when Ashes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Norino didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusebio Jakobe to strike the kick off in the second half. Denis Claude charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denis Claude the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alonzo Madaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the game, Alonzo Sagrario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ashes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amaicha del Valle the free kick. Alonzo Sagrario kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Alonzo Madaleno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Efrain Odilon made a huge save. Alonzo Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alonzo Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Odilon having to interfere. Efrain Odilon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ashes FC booed when Amaicha del Valle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Bazil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Madaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the game, Alonzo Madaleno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Efrain Odilon. Alonzo Madaleno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Amaicha del Valle played a much better game than Ashes FC and deserved their victory. The Ashes FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
