The referee ignored Chipisca's protests and gave Higinio Maties a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ashes FC's Teo Lander got a free kick in the 6th minute. Efrain Odilon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Maureo in the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Edgard Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Delmar Maureo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ashes FC's Efrain Odilon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ashes FC's Manuel Heli got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Ruben Gurutz came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Chipisca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Gurutz couldn't finish the play. Ruben Gurutz scored 2-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efrain Odilon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 38 minutes of play Chipisca's Higinio Maties was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Chipisca's Higinio Maties got a free kick in the 39th minute. Teo Lander was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Edgard Abascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Richard Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the game, Santiago Ralondo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Efrain Odilon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manuel Heli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Richard Prado made a huge save. Chipisca's Richard Prado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Chipisca from getting a goal against them. Edgard Abascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Abascal got free with Richard Prado in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ashes FC booed when Chipisca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edgard Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Jakobe in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Prado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, Chipisca's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Jakobe came free, but Richard Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Chipisca got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Maureo. 92 minutes into the match, Ashes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Gurutz came free, but Efrain Odilon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ashes FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
