A hard shot 9 in the game by Osvaldo Beturian from a close distance when the talented Inocencio Herauso managed to make a qualified save. Garín FC's players were relieved. When Timoteo Ricart fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garín FC's protests and gave Timoteo Ricart a yellow card for diving instead. Elvio Raphael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Garín FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abel Dorio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Osvaldo Beturian came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Patricios Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Beturian couldn't finish the play. Garín FC's Inocencio Herauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Garín FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Abel Dorio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Inocencio Herauso to make any attempt to save it. In the 29th minute, Elvio Raphael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inocencio Herauso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Abel Dorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Inocencio Herauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Peio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Abel Dorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patricios Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Dorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Patricios Futbol Club getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Osvaldo Beturian hit a great ball. Abel Dorio struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Inocencio Herauso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patricios Futbol Club. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo Beturian to make the kick off. With a little luck, Patricios Futbol Club's Iker Nerio got control of the ball when Geronimo Rubio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Patricios Futbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Patricios Futbol Club's Osvaldo Beturian looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Osvaldo Beturian sped through Garín FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Inocencio Herauso. After a rather tough play, Patricios Futbol Club's Abel Dorio got a free kick in the 65th minute. Abel Dorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76thth minute of the game Osvaldo Beturian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garín FC's Inocencio Herauso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Piorno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricios Futbol Club's Abel Dorio got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rene Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Dorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Inocencio Herauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Timoteo Ricart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th match minute, Patricios Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Sotero to maneuver through the defense. Patricios Futbol Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
