Rodrigo Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Urtats having to interfere. In the 47thth minute of the game Felipe Senon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Infinity's Mariano Aguirre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Felipe Senon made the kick off in the second half. Felipe Senon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Aguirre having to make a save. If Rodrigo Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Fliz in the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Rodrigo Fliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Felipe Senon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Infinity's Alfredo Theobald got a free kick in the 75th minute. Hilario Suero charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hilario Suero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Union de Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Suero to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
