In the 25th minute Blas Chano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Ayala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Ayala came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Cleipole FC's Theodor Torsvik. But to his dismay, Theodor Torsvik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Cleipole FC's Ruben Lalla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Cleipole FC from getting a goal against them. Amadeo Beila kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cleipole FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Leopoldo Basualdo might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilfredo Ayala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leopoldo Basualdo ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Theodor Torsvik in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Ayala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnino Ermengol during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cleipole FC booed when Velez sarsfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Ermengol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theodor Torsvik in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

The wind increased when Theodor Torsvik made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeo Beila during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Theodor Torsvik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Wilfredo Ayala made a huge save. Velez sarsfield's Lázaro Handi got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Lázaro Handi off the ground. Theodor Torsvik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilfredo Ayala came out and tried to block the shot, but Theodor Torsvik slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute, Theodor Torsvik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cleipole FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. A collision led to Cleipole FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Murat Selim Raşit hit a great ball. The supporters of Velez sarsfield booed when Cleipole FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Ayala made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Theodor Torsvik sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Murat Selim Raşit fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Theodor Torsvik in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wilfredo Ayala, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cleipole FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
