Kraken FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rodolfo Transito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Mariano Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonso Oton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Aguirre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Infinity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Neto to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Oton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Mariano Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Rodrigo Fliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Tanio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Kraken FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Tabor to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Infinity were awarded a corner. Alberto Caton went to the cornerflag to take it. A hard shot 22 in the game by Rodolfo Transito from a close distance when the talented Mariano Aguirre managed to make a qualified save. Infinity's players were relieved. Rodrigo Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Tanio having to interfere. Pedro Balasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Miguel Tanio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Balasi struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Miguel Tanio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Infinity. Rodolfo Transito succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 46th playminute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobias Foro during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 55 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Fliz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miguel Tanio. Rodrigo Fliz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 62nd minute, Ismael Neto had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 63 minutes of play Kraken FC's Tobias Foro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mariano Aguirre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Transito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kraken FC's Miguel Tanio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Kraken FC from getting a goal against them. If Pedro Balasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Tanio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Balasi in the 94th minute. Alfonso Oton's late challenge caught a Infinity's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Oton helped the player get up and apologised. The Infinity players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
