The Los pendencieros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cirilo Errolan should have stopped the shot. Aureliano Tab hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A hard shot 24 in the game by Aureliano Tab from a close distance when the talented Atilano Marquez managed to make a qualified save. La Viola de Betito's players were relieved. Aquiles Galsino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cirilo Errolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Florencio Argoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Aquiles Galsino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cirilo Errolan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 minutes, Prudencio Osorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Viola de Betito and the Los pendencieros players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aureliano Tab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Ongile was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justo Bero during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Justo Bero hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. La Viola de Betito's Aquiles Galsino got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Los pendencieros players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Viola de Betito were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amancio Ongile was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Amancio Ongile put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Atilano Marquez. In the 58th minute, Amancio Ongile got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aureliano Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Tab in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atilano Marquez saved La Viola de Betito from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Los pendencieros 's Amancio Ongile sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atilano Marquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amancio Ongile in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilano Marquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aureliano Tab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquiles Galsino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Cirilo Errolan made a huge save. Amancio Ongile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atilano Marquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Amancio Ongile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Atilano Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in La Viola de Betito's zone, Aureliano Tab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Marquez came out of the goal and Aureliano Tab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to La Viola de Betito getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Teodosio Rameriz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Ongile in the 89th minute of play forced La Viola de Betito's goalkeeper Atilano Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aureliano Tab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Marquez having to interfere. If Aureliano Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
