After 79 minutes, Ruben Joachim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cream Team and the Pueyrredón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Cream Team defense, Nicasio Cugat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Taurino. The Cream Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Taurino should have stopped the shot. The Cream Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pueyrredón FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
