With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Taurino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th minute, Genaro Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cream Team's zone, Jacinto Lore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Taurino came out of the goal and Jacinto Lore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Maore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Choriplaneros F.C. booed when Cream Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Joachim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Cream Team got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Oliverio. Iker Luken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustino Birila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Maore in the 25th minute of play. Enrique Maore struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Faustino Birila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cream Team. Faustino Birila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Dodorol in the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Choriplaneros F.C.'s zone, Alfredo Dodorol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Birila came out of the goal and Alfredo Dodorol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Leonides Sotil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Choriplaneros F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Sotil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jonathan Dorio came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Choriplaneros F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Dorio couldn't finish the play. Ruben Joachim hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Dodorol to strike the kick off in the second half. If Leonides Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genaro Gelacio during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Genaro Gelacio hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Choriplaneros F.C. were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Cream Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iker Luken took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Esteban Niguel heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 63 minutes into the game, Choriplaneros F.C.'s Prudencio Loiola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Taurino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Gelacio in the 69th minute of play forced Choriplaneros F.C.'s goalkeeper Faustino Birila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jonathan Dorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Taurino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Loiola in the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Enrique Maore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cream Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Maore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Birila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Choriplaneros F.C.'s goalkeeper Faustino Birila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Maore. 80 minutes into the match, Prudencio Loiola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Taurino. Cream Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prudencio Loiola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Choriplaneros F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Faustino Birila went to the wrong direction when Lisandro Ospetsu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 97 minutes into the game, one of Choriplaneros F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Cream Team a penalty, 99 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lisandro Ospetsu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Choriplaneros F.C.'s Faustino Birila. 3-1. Cream Team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
