The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Ospetsu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Lisandro Ospetsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aureliano Tab came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Los pendencieros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Tab couldn't finish the play. Aureliano Tab hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Tomás Taurino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute of the match Joel Salomon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Taurino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Enrique Maore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Cirilo Errolan made a huge save. Alfredo Dodorol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Errolan having to interfere. Florencio Argoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Argoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Los pendencieros getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Florencio Argoitz hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Enrique Maore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Maore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cirilo Errolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los pendencieros 's Cirilo Errolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Dodorol in the 38th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Ruben Joachim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cream Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los pendencieros the free kick. After 45 played minutes Cream Team got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Joachim. Cream Team's Tomás Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Ongile in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Dodorol to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Amancio Ongile managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los pendencieros 's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Ongile was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Taurino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Amancio Ongile kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomás Taurino. That made the score 0-1 in the 57 minute of play. Aureliano Tab succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 64th playminute. Aureliano Tab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amancio Ongile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier Urko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomás Taurino. Cream Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 79th minute, Lisandro Ospetsu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Los pendencieros 's Cirilo Errolan didn't even have to move. During the 86th minute of the match Aureliano Tab completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aureliano Tab a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Cream Team booed when Los pendencieros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Tab didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los pendencieros 's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
