Spectators: 6649 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Romeo Steven started the match with the kick off. Hector Franco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nemesio Danel having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Sacanta's Niceto Lastur got a free kick in the 14th minute. Nemesio Danel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Isidro Gelmiro. In the 18th minute Pastor Deunoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Evis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Deunoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Franco in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nemesio Danel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Romeo Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 50 minutes into the match, Sacanta's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Steven came free, but Nemesio Danel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pastor Deunoro to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54th play minutes Matias Benino shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Prospero Evis and just under the crossbar into goal. Nemesio Danel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sacanta's Alonzo Mon got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Hector Franco came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Malaspina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Franco couldn't finish the play. Alonzo Mon kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Rogelio Oskitz hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Malaspina's Isidro Gelmiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sacanta. If Hector Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sacanta's Nemesio Danel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Steven in the 78th minute of play. Matias Benino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Prospero Evis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malaspina's Prospero Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Benino in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Malaspina's zone, Matias Benino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Evis came out of the goal and Matias Benino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Deunoro in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Evis saved Malaspina from getting behind. Matias Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Evis having to interfere. When Pascual Gartzen fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malaspina's protests and gave Pascual Gartzen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Malaspina getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Pascual Gartzen hit a great ball. When Marcelo Chaime fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malaspina's protests and gave Marcelo Chaime a yellow card for diving instead. After 98 played minutes Malaspina got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Chaime. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sacanta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
