Bartolo Cheche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Rojelio in the 12th minute of play. Bartolo Cheche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Rojelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Maximiliano Rojelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartolo Cheche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Rojelio ran back to his position shaking his head. Faustino Danel struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Øyvind Leonhardsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Branca F.C. Faustino Danel's late challenge caught a Absolut FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Danel helped the player get up and apologised. Faustino Danel kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustacio Tristan in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Øyvind Leonhardsen saved Absolut FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Absolut FC's Bernardo Lano got a free kick in the 30th minute. Denis Theobald hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Ayala during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sportivo Branca F.C getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Marco Ayala hit a great ball. If Maximiliano Rojelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Bartolo Cheche managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Absolut FC's Modesto Pepillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 42nd minute, Denis Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Pepillo got free with Bartolo Cheche in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Maximiliano Rojelio made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Sportivo Branca F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Rios to maneuver through the defense. The Absolut FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Absolut FC's Maximiliano Rojelio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bartolo Cheche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Rojelio's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Bartolo Cheche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Maximiliano Rojelio sped through Sportivo Branca F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bartolo Cheche. Bartolo Cheche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Pepillo in the 79th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Sportivo Branca F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Rojelio came free, but Bartolo Cheche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bartolo Cheche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Absolut FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
