Pastor Bermudo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Lazcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Bermudo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dunga Dunga's zone, Joel Lazcano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Bermudo came out of the goal and Joel Lazcano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dunga Dunga's Pastor Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Loiola in the 16th minute of play. Dunga Dunga's Pastor Bermudo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Dunga Dunga from getting a goal against them. Narciso Loiola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pastor Bermudo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Niceto Enetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 34 in the game by Joel Lazcano from a close distance when the talented Pastor Bermudo managed to make a qualified save. Dunga Dunga's players were relieved. Narciso Loiola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Lazcano got free with Pastor Bermudo in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Narciso Loiola reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pastor Bermudo. The goal made the score 2-0. Pastor Bermudo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Narciso Loiola. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Pastor Bermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Independiente. Carlos Gaur charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Gaur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Dunga Dunga booed when C.A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Gaur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Loiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Bermudo having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, C.A. Independiente's Narciso Loiola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pastor Bermudo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niceto Enetz hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Llanos during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 68 minutes, Joel Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Lazcano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Narciso Loiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Pastor Bermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Loiola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joel Lazcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79th play minutes Joel Lazcano shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Pastor Bermudo and just under the crossbar into goal. Carlos Gaur struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Pastor Bermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Independiente. After a rather tough play, Dunga Dunga's Jose Gaufred got a free kick in the 87th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Lazcano in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pastor Bermudo saved Dunga Dunga from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Joel Lazcano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 97 minutes of play, C.A. Independiente's Joel Lazcano made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pastor Bermudo was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C.A. Independiente had played much better football throughout.
