The crowd rose to their feet as Camilo Polentzi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roman Claude. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Manantiales FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Camilo Polentzi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Evaristo Aresti hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Camilo Donzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

El Moderno's Camilo Donzel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save El Moderno from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Ramirez in the 60th minute of play forced El Moderno's goalkeeper Camilo Donzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Polentzi in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Claude saved Manantiales FC from getting behind. A collision led to Manantiales FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Arsenio Cresconio hit a great ball. Hugo Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Camilo Donzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Manantiales FC's Camilo Donzel threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arsenio Cresconio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 76th minute Haroldo Iruinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, El Moderno's Camilo Donzel got control of the ball when Eustacio Gartzen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camilo Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Claude having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Manantiales FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Moderno.
