The goalkeeper, Honorio Ilazki, was totally fooled by La Gagoneta FC's Filomeno Servando, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Rumios's zone, Thor Husøy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Ilazki came out of the goal and Thor Husøy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Thor Husøy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thor Husøy struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Honorio Ilazki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Gagoneta FC. Cirilo Ferman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Honorio Ilazki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Thor Husøy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Gagoneta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Andres Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Ariando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thor Husøy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Honorio Ilazki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Servando in the 52nd minute of play forced Rumios's goalkeeper Honorio Ilazki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Bernardino Adrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorio Ilazki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Servando, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Dario Santiago's late challenge caught a Rumios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Santiago helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Gagoneta FC's Dario Santiago got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Marciano Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Rumios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Garcia couldn't finish the play. After 73 played minutes Rumios got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Adrio. If Thor Husøy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Honorio Ilazki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Ferman's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Santiago in the 89th minute of play forced Rumios's goalkeeper Honorio Ilazki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute La Gagoneta FC were awarded a corner. Adan Harriet went to the cornerflag to take it. Adan Harriet made a great header on La Gagoneta FC's corner, it was just that Rumios's Honorio Ilazki managed to reach the ball for a save.
