An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Galtero in the 13th minute of play forced Médanos's goalkeeper Simon Llorienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Corderall in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Wilde AFC booed when Médanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Justino Eutor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Médanos getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Feliciano Baladi hit a great ball. Simon Llorienzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Corderall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Médanos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodrigo Anaya was slow to take the kick. During this time Wilde AFC's players had a chance to rest. After 42 minutes of play, Wilde AFC's Leon Corderall made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Llorienzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Wilde AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Médanos's Igor Etxatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nicasio Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ciriaco Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Etxatxu in the 73rd minute of play. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Médanos's goalkeeper Simon Llorienzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Wilde AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Médanos from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
