Ciriaco Porfiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Justino Eutor in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Camilo Donzel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Justino Eutor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Donzel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Camilo Donzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Eutor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Wilde AFC booed when El Moderno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Lastur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benicio Diaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justino Eutor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Camilo Donzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Wilde AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Iruinea came free, but Ciriaco Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Porfiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camilo Polentzi's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. If Benicio Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Wilde AFC's Justino Eutor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Donzel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Wilde AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Iruinea came free, but Ciriaco Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wilde AFC's Hermengildo Procopio got a free kick in the 38th minute. Haroldo Iruinea struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ciriaco Porfiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Moderno. Camilo Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Porfiro having to interfere. When Camilo Polentzi came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the El Moderno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Polentzi couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ciriaco Porfiro made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Camilo Polentzi sent off a good shot on target. Wilde AFC's Ciriaco Porfiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Wilde AFC from getting a goal against them. After 55 played minutes, Wilde AFC's Silverio Galtero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camilo Donzel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wilde AFC reached it. Camilo Donzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Diaz in the 57th minute of play. Camilo Donzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Eutor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justino Eutor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. El Moderno's Camilo Donzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Diaz in the 71st minute of play. Camilo Donzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, El Moderno's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Diaz came free, but Camilo Donzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilde AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Eutor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 played minutes El Moderno got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Dalmu. After 93 played minutes, Wilde AFC's Rodrigo Anaya shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camilo Donzel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wilde AFC reached it. The Wilde AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El Moderno's performance. The match ended with a win for El Moderno.
