Curarú
Spectators: 7265 (Terracing: 5450, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Higinio Markel kicked off to start the match. Braulio Abajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Etxahun in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gavino Etxahun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braulio Abajas was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Nunez Chale kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suipacha's goalkeeper Braulio Abajas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Curarú booed when Suipacha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Ishmael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Carmelo Artaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Higinio Markel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Anselmo Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Artaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Ishmael in the 26th minute of play forced Curarú's goalkeeper Carmelo Artaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filiberto Ferrer during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 28 minutes into the game, one of Curarú:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Suipacha a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Segundo Matei, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Curarú's Carmelo Artaldo. 0-1. Martin Cortez's late challenge caught a Curarú's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Cortez helped the player get up and apologised. Martin Cortez kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Braulio Abajas was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Gavino Etxahun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gavino Etxahun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 45th minute Rogelio Ishmael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Artaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Curarú's Rogelio Ieltxu was substituted for Higinio Markel. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Gregory made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Suipacha's Anselmo Gregory slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carmelo Artaldo. That made the score 1-2 after 57 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Gregory in the 63rd minute of play forced Curarú's goalkeeper Carmelo Artaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Eliseo Endura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Ieltxu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braulio Abajas having to make a save. A long shot from Martin Cortez in the 77th minute of play was well struck, but Carmelo Artaldo made a really good save at the right post. Carmelo Artaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Gregory in the 78th minute of play. Braulio Abajas came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Curarú's Gavino Etxahun. But to his dismay, Gavino Etxahun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suipacha's goalkeeper Braulio Abajas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gavino Etxahun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Ishmael got free with Carmelo Artaldo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anselmo Gregory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Carmelo Artaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Although Curarú had been in control for most of the match, Suipacha still came away with the win.
