Casimiro Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Larpe having to interfere. Arturo Joey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the ★Estrella★ defense, Casimiro Gutierrez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luciano Larpe. The ★Estrella★ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Larpe should have stopped the shot. Jairo Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casimiro Gutierrez might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luciano Larpe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casimiro Gutierrez ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Rufio in the 30th minute of play forced ★Estrella★'s goalkeeper Luciano Larpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Larpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Gutierrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 40th minute, Cayetano Eleazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Luganofootball's Casimiro Gutierrez in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ★Estrella★'s goalie prevented a goal. The ★Estrella★ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Luganofootball were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casimiro Gutierrez to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Casimiro Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Larpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Gutierrez had several of the ★Estrella★'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Luciano Larpe as he didn't even see the shot coming. 58 minutes into the match, Luganofootball's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Marques came free, but Anastasio Ishmael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Casimiro Gutierrez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Ishmael having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Valentin Txomin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jairo Marques came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the ★Estrella★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Marques couldn't finish the play. ★Estrella★'s Jairo Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Eleazar in the 84th minute of play forced Luganofootball's goalkeeper Anastasio Ishmael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes Luganofootball got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Gonza. In the 91st minute of the match Iker Eguntsenti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Larpe skillfully saved the ball. Leandro Sanchez charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leandro Sanchez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Luganofootball walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
