The supporters of Cuervos del Sur booed when Suipacha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Chale didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Derwin during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Suipacha's Hugo Derwin got a free kick in the 24th minute. Dante Gorri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Braulio Abajas made a huge save. Nunez Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Dabi having to interfere. Romeo Madeo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Fernando Dabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Ishmael, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Anselmo Gregory cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fernando Dabi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The referee ordered Nunez Chale off the ground. Cuervos del Sur's Dante Gorri got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Leon Azubeli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuervos del Sur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 92nd minute Dante Gorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Abajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Sebastian Jacob got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
