Spectators: 7190 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) Cuervos del Sur's Leon Azubeli started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Cuervos del Sur defense, Horacio Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Dabi. The Cuervos del Sur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Dabi should have stopped the shot. Fernando Dabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Edgard Muc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Dabi having to interfere. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Horacio Vidal hit a great ball. Dante Gorri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romulo Mendebal having to make a save. Horacio Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Muc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Dabi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Cuervos del Sur's Fernando Dabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Muc in the 28th minute of play. Romulo Mendebal made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Dante Gorri sent off a good shot on target. Dante Gorri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Romulo Mendebal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dante Gorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Romulo Mendebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuervos del Sur's goalkeeper Fernando Dabi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th match minute, Cuervos del Sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Baldovino to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Muc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Romulo Mendebal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Azubeli in the 54th minute of the match. Dante Gorri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Azubeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Romulo Mendebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Mendebal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Azubeli's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgard Muc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Dabi. That made the score 0-2 in the 73 minute of play. Dante Gorri struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Romulo Mendebal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuervos del Sur. After 83rd play minutes Dante Gorri shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Romulo Mendebal and just under the crossbar into goal. After 86 minutes, Rogelio Baldovino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuervos del Sur and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Racing Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
