Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The supporters of Luganofootball booed when NDI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute Arturo Joey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Telo in the 12th minute of play forced Luganofootball's goalkeeper Anastasio Ishmael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Telo got free with Anastasio Ishmael in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Jonathan Artal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anastasio Ishmael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Telo in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Txomin in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Bastian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nemesio Telo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the NDI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Telo couldn't finish the play. Nemesio Telos short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Anastasio Ishmael to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Joey in the 36th minute of play forced NDI FC's goalkeeper Hector Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Bastian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Gutierrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casimiro Gutierrez made a kick off. Nemesio Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Anastasio Ishmael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Nemesio Telo managed to get in a good position for a shot. NDI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Telo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Ishmael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arturo Joey came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hector Bastian could save by the left post. Arturo Joey took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Bastian. Hector Bastian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hector Bastian made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Valentin Txomin sent off a good shot on target. NDI FC's Nemesio Telo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Telo in the 68th minute of play forced Luganofootball's goalkeeper Anastasio Ishmael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Telo in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Ishmael saved Luganofootball from getting behind. NDI FC's Jonathan Artal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Florentino Cloyo, made in the 74th minute of the game. Anastasio Ishmael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Artal in the 75th minute of the match. If Nemesio Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Luganofootball's goalkeeper Anastasio Ishmael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Telo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anastasio Ishmael was relentless in the 86th minute of the game.
