Felix Urtungo was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Cesar Porfirio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ★Estrella★'s Luciano Larpe did a great save. A collision led to ★Estrella★ getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Leandro Sanchez hit a great ball. When Horacio Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Vidal couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, Edgard Muc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Luciano Larpe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Demesio during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Marcial Demesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romulo Mendebal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Marques in the 21st minute of the match. Edgard Muc struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Luciano Larpe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Marques in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romulo Mendebal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgard Muc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Luciano Larpe made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in ★Estrella★'s zone, Pedro Dunixi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Larpe came out of the goal and Pedro Dunixi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Jairo Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. ★Estrella★'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Mendebal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, ★Estrella★'s Cayetano Eleazar got a free kick in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cayetano Eleazar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Eleazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Larpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Muc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jairo Marques came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the ★Estrella★ fans jumped to their feet. Santiago Mannuel kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Americo Goiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Racing Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ★Estrella★ for a fine match.
