Silvio Rufio charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvio Rufio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Finito LTA booed when Luganofootball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Rufio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Niceto Tipi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luganofootball's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Finito LTA the free kick. In the 15th minute, Niceto Tipi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Finito LTA's Anastasio Ishmael threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Inocencio Austin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arturo Joey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Abelardo Euloxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arturo Joey came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Luganofootball fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Joey couldn't finish the play. In the 25th match minute, Finito LTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Urtsin to maneuver through the defense. Casimiro Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Euloxu having to interfere. Valentin Txomin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Euloxu having to interfere. Rodolfo Silvino's late challenge caught a Luganofootball's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Silvino helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Joey in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Euloxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the game, Iker Eguntsenti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luganofootball's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Finito LTA the free kick. After a rather tough play, Luganofootball's Iker Eguntsenti got a free kick in the 40th minute. Inocencio Austin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Joey in the 46th minute of play forced Finito LTA's goalkeeper Abelardo Euloxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute of the match Luganofootball got a corner. Finito LTA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iker Eguntsenti ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Luganofootball's Casimiro Gutierrez to a score. 0-1 in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inocencio Austin to strike the kick off in the second half. Inocencio Austin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Anastasio Ishmael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Inocencio Austin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Finito LTA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Inocencio Austin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arturo Joey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Euloxu having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Pirro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anastasio Ishmael was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. If Casimiro Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Eulalio Pirro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Inocencio Austin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anastasio Ishmael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Pirro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Luganofootball players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Finito LTA.
