Curarú's Carmelo Artaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Curarú from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, Jairo Marques notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Curarú's Carmelo Artaldo. Carmelo Artaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leandro Sanchez's late challenge caught a Curarú's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Sanchez helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes ★Estrella★ got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Sanchez. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ★Estrella★! The referee gave Curarú a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Haroldo Salvino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ★Estrella★'s Luciano Larpe. 1-2. Carmelo Artaldo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Enrique Katia. Curarú's Carmelo Artaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Eleazar in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cayetano Eleazar made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Cayetano Eleazar put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Carmelo Artaldo. In the 56th minute, Curarú's Higinio Markel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Cayetano Eleazar's late challenge caught a Curarú's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 64th minute Gavino Etxahun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Larpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curarú's goalkeeper Carmelo Artaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carmelo Artaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Curarú's Alberto Hondo got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute, Jairo Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ★Estrella★ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3.
