Tomas Gaxan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artemio Abilio's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Erubiel Loco might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomas Gaxan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erubiel Loco ran back to his position shaking his head. Fermin Matteo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Cienaguita's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Loco came free, but Tomas Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Gaxan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Abilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Artemio Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erubiel Loco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Gaxan having to interfere. Cienaguita's Tomas Gaxan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Abilio in the 26th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Artemio Abilio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cienaguita's Tomas Gaxan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Cienaguita's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Loco came free, but Tomas Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Artemio Abilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cienaguita defense, Erubiel Loco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Gaxan. The Cienaguita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Gaxan should have stopped the shot. Fermin Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustacio Ciano to make the kick off. Artemio Abilio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Artemio Abilio came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Joker FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Abilio couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Eustacio Ciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Joker FC's Artemio Abilio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomas Gaxan. Tomas Gaxan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Joker FC's Artemio Abilio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Joker FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Claudio Dalmu hit a great ball. In the 74th minute of the match Jacobo Joanes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but German Naike showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Artemio Abilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Gaxan having to interfere. Erubiel Loco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tomas Gaxan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Abilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erubiel Loco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Tomas Gaxan made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Cienaguita's zone, Artemio Abilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Gaxan came out of the goal and Artemio Abilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joker FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
