When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Jakes made a kick off. After 53 minutes A.S. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guaberto Gartzi in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Fanuco saved River Plate from getting behind. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casimiro Peyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A.S. Roma Baires's attentive Primitivo Berdaitz managed to snatch the ball when Delmiro Mantzio made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, A.S. Roma Baires's Rodrigo Fanuco threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Justino Harriet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 83 minutes into the game, A.S. Roma Baires's Guaberto Gartzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Fanuco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Guaberto Gartzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Fanuco having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Edelmiro Bieito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Fanuco came out of the goal and Edelmiro Bieito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded A.S. Roma Baires left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than River Plate.
