La Pandilla's Leo Lizbeth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save La Pandilla from getting a goal against them. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Orti ran back to his position shaking his head. The La Pandilla fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when La Pandilla's Leon Ourente looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rodrigo Fanuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Ourente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolo Ruisko hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Leon Jurgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Ourente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Ourente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Rodrigo Fanuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half La Pandilla were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danilo Jakes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pascual Jaume blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo Fanuco having to make a save. Arnaldo Naelio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58thth minute of the game Leon Ourente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Rodrigo Fanuco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 63 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Matias Corderun. If Leon Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Lizbeth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Ruisko, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Leon Ourente came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the La Pandilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Ourente couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Ourente in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Fanuco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. River Plate's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Leon Ourente 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Leon Ourente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rodrigo Fanuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Ourente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
